CP040 is a full metal constructed M.2 NVMe to U.2 NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 SSD mobile rack in a Slim ODD bay. It is specifically designed for Industrial PC, Media Workstations, High Performance Servers, Surveillance Systems, Medical Systems and Military Rugged Computers. The CP040 fits 1x M.2 NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 SSD (2230/2242/2260/2280) in a Slim ODD bay via M key connector but rear connection becomes Intel certified U.2 connector support up to PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 32 Gb/s transfer speed. The small footprint design allows packs a powerful NVMe SSD within limited space and provides easy frontal access for drive swapping and drive maintenance.

The CP040 uses passive-cooling system with massive amount of cutting ventilation slots on the front and back, and a heat sink is included to be directly attached onto M.2 NVMe SSD for heat dissipation transfer from the SSDs to the surrounding metal casing. Lastly, Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) and EMI grounding are used to ensure a stable environment for the SSD’s used, dramatically improving reliability.
