  • Product Introduction
    Introducing the CP109, a swappable MPX module supporting eight 5-15mm height 2.5" SATA hard drives or solid-state through a single PCIe card slot connection, designed for the Mac Pro (2019-current) tower chassis. The CP109 is an easy way to expand storage in a Mac Pro while taking two MPX slot spaces. All eight 2.5" SATA drives can be run at full SATA speed up to 6Gb/s while the drives can be easily swapped out, making it perfect for media/tech professionals to store, access, and manage their digital assets.
  • The CP109 uses a swappable drive tray system to make drive interchangeability and maintenance completely hassle-free. It allows users to add or remove the drive for upgrade or maintenance without removing the entire MPX module from the system to reduce system downtime. The eagle-hook drive tray locking system makes sure the installed 2.5" SATA SSDs/HDDs will not eject when not needed for enhanced drive security.
  • LEDs are installed to the front of the trays to provide drive status information at all times when the drive is inserted and accessed. The full metal housing and drive trays offer maximum durability, even on the most challenging worksites.
  • To keep the system super-cool and quiet, the CP109 has strategically placed air vents all around the device to maximize airflow. On top of that, the honeycomb mesh ventilation side panel and full metal chassis make the CP109 act as a giant heatsink, which works perfectly with Mac Pro's innovative thermal system and will keep the 2.5" SATA SSDs under the ideal operating temperature even under heavy workloads.
