  • Introducing the concept product CP128-1 - A removable 4x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe (U.3) drive mobile rack for a single 5.25” device bay, providing quick drive access for easy maintenance and support Universal Backplane Management (UBM) protocol for maximum drive compatibility.
  • World's First UBM Mobile Rack
    Equipped with Universal Backplane Management (UBM) ICs, the CP128-1 can support up to four 2.5” SAS, SATA, or NVMe (U.3) SSD/HDD through 2x SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654) connectors, offering up to 64Gbps transfer rates for NVMe Gen 4 U.3 SSD, 22.5Gbps for SAS 4.0 drives, and 6Gbps for SATA 3.0 drives. The extremely fast IOPS (Input/output operations per second) makes it an ideal removable drive mobile rack enclosure for data-intensive applications such as autonomous driving, mobile automation, real-time forecast, film editing, and military computing.
  • Pair with a Tri-mode HBA/RAID adapter card (via SlimSAS 8i) to enable the UBM function and access a 2.5” SAS, SATA, or NVMe (U.3) drive within the same drive bay using SFF-8639 connector for best flexibility on fulfilling your data storage requirements.
  • Removable Drive Tray Design
    The CP128-1 uses a swappable drive tray system to make drive interchangeability and maintenance hassle-free. It allows users to add or remove 2.5” SAS, SATA, and NVMe (U.3) drives through the frontal 5.25” optical drive bay, making drive maintenance a more efficient and straightforward process. In addition, the eagle-hook drive tray locking system ensures drive trays are always secured inside the enclosure for enhanced drive security.
  • Maximizing Cooling Performance
    The dual 40x20mm cooling fans will disperse heat generated by the three types of drives through the intelligently placed ventilation holes throughout the mobile rack enclosure. The dual cooling fans come with three fan speed settings – High, Low, and Off. The user can choose the appropriate fan speed option to keep the drives at optimal operating temperatures or even replace the fans with 3rd-party cooling fans without needing to open the mobile rack housing.

    Ensuring the enclosure can be relied upon for many years, the CP128-1 can hold up in the harshest environment. It comes equipped with rugged, heavy-duty full-metal protection throughout the entire device and tray, making it perfect for industrial devices that may require a flammability rating. In addition, the outstanding build quality is suitable for various enterprise systems such as military and law enforcement industries, in-vehicle computers, and manufacturing conditions such as embedded control and factory automation systems.
  • Packed with Features
    Grounding your drives is essential, as swapping drives without proper grounding may damage hardware due to static shocks. With our innovative EMI Grounding Technology, once the drive is screwed onto the drive tray, the drive will be in a constant grounded state throughout the tray, housing, and computer system to ensure your drives are protected from static electrical surges and safe during swapping.
  • Individual LED lights are built into the drive tray to indicate the drive status - a solid green light indicates a drive is inserted and has power; a flashing green light indicates the drive is in use. The LED and fan will shut off when no drive is inserted to reduce power consumption.
