Product Introduction

The CP136 concept product is designed for large digital file transport and offline data backup. It fits a standard 5.25” optical drive bay, housing up to 8x U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs with PCIe 5.0 transfer speeds up to 128Gbps. Ideal for media production, enterprise IT environments, and secure data transfer, this device ensures efficient data handling. Its tool-free, screw-less SSD installation makes setup swift and hassle-free. The removable tray allows for the physical relocation of multiple SSDs, enabling quick and secure data transport to different locations.
Tool-less SSD Installation for Quick SSD Swap/Transportation

The CP136 features a unique removable tray design that enables quick and easy swapping of up to 8 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs. By pressing the release mechanism, you can pull out the entire tray using the built-in handle. Lift the upper SSD tray, place the U.2/U.3 SSD onto the tray's built-in screw. No tools or additional screws are required, and the entire operation can be completed in under 60 seconds. For users who require more stability, optional screw holes are available on the tray to secure the SSDs. This innovative design ensures a seamless and efficient installation process. The removable tray not only simplifies SSD installation but also allows for the quick physical transfer of SSDs to another location, supporting efficient Sneakernet operations.
Efficient Physical Data Transfer Between Systems

To further enhance the flexibility and convenience of the CP136, users can easily remove the entire tray from System A and physically transfer it to System B. This process allows for offline data transportation, ensuring secure and efficient data handling. Alternatively, users can remove the individual SSDs from the tray using the tool-less and screw-less design, ship them to the new location, and quickly reinstall them into the CP136 module in System B. This streamlined method supports Sneakernet operations, making large-scale data transfer simple and effective.
PCIe 5.0 Transfer Speeds

Equipped with four MCIO 8i connectors, the CP136 supports PCIe 5.0 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSDs, delivering transfer speeds of up to 128Gbps. That's four times faster than PCIe 3.0 and twenty times faster than SATA interfaces!
Rugged All-Metal Design

Continuing the legacy of the popular ToughArmor series, the CP136 features an all-metal construction, from its chassis to the drive caddy. It is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, and is backed by an industry-leading 5-year warranty, ensuring smooth and stable performance even in the most demanding environments.
Individual Drive Status LED Indicators

An LED status light built into the tray lets you know your drive is powered up and in use. The LED will shut off when no drives are installed to save power.
Optimal Cooling Efficiency

The CP136 is equipped with two high-efficiency 40x40x20mm cooling fans that quickly draw cool air through the densely perforated cooling vents on the front panel, expelling the heat generated by U.2/U.3 SSDs from the rear of the chassis. The all-metal enclosure and caddy also contribute to heat dissipation, ensuring optimal cooling performance.
