  • The CP164 is an ultra-compact, non-standard dual-bay U.2/U.3 NVMe mobile rack module designed specifically for rackmount system builders. Its compact 5.25"-class width (73.9mm) allows integrators to deploy two 7mm or 15mm U.2/U.3 PCIe 5.0 x4 SSDs in tight spaces or modular front-panel layouts where standard drive cages cannot fit. Featuring the MB991TRAY-B metal tray, MCIO 8i (SFF-TA-1016) interface, and a 40mm quick-swap cooling fan, the CP164 delivers high-speed removable storage for compact AI servers, edge systems, and custom industrial appliances.

    The CP164 is engineered with a compact, non-standard 5.25"-class footprint, giving system builders greater flexibility when designing compact or multi-module rackmount layouts. Unlike standard removable drive cages, the CP164 is intended for direct integration into OEM/SI rackmount chassis, allowing for:

    • Dual CP164 module deployment within a standard 5.25" bay footprint*
    • Side-mount or bottom-mount installation inside custom enclosures
    • Space-optimized front-panel layouts for edge AI, IPC, and compact server systems
