For deployments requiring enhanced mechanical retention and long-term stability, the MB218E5P series also supports the optional MB218TP-1B screw-mount tray. Unlike the standard tool-less tray, the MB218TP-1B secures the SSD with screws and is compatible with both MB218E5P-B and MB218E5P-1B enclosures.
This tray option is particularly suited for industrial PCs, transportation systems, edge computing, and other vibration-sensitive environments where additional SSD retention is preferred to help minimize connector movement during operation.
