  • The CP166 is an ultra-compact, non-standard 4-bay E3.S NVMe SSD mobile rack module designed for custom rackmount systems, edge computing platforms, and next-generation embedded server applications. Supporting four 7.5mm E3.S PCIe 5.0 x4 SSDs within an exceptionally compact enclosure, the CP166 enables system integrators and OEMs to deploy removable EDSFF storage while preserving valuable chassis space for additional compute, networking, or accelerator hardware.

    Featuring removable metal drive trays, MCIO 8i (SFF-TA-1016) connectivity, and a serviceable active cooling design, the CP166 delivers front-accessible PCIe Gen5 storage optimized for flexible system integration and scalable E3.S storage architectures.
  • Space-Efficient EDSFF Storage Module for Flexible System Designs

    The CP166 is engineered as a compact EDSFF storage module for OEM and SI system development where available chassis space is limited. Compared to larger storage modules, the CP166 provides greater deployment flexibility, allowing builders to distribute multiple storage modules throughout a system while maintaining optimized airflow and internal component placement. The compact module design enables:

Designed for modern EDSFF storage deployments, the platform provides high-speed removable storage suitable for AI edge servers, industrial computing systems, virtualization nodes, caching applications, and next-generation enterprise storage architectures.

    The CP166 utilizes rugged full-metal removable E3.S trays for simplified SSD installation, replacement, and maintenance. The front-access design enables easier serviceability while supporting hot-plug drive replacement in enterprise and industrial environments.

    The CP166 incorporates a removable 40×40×20mm cooling fan module that can be serviced or replaced without disassembling the entire enclosure. Designed for continuous operation in enterprise, industrial, and edge deployments, the modular cooling design helps simplify maintenance procedures while providing consistent airflow for PCIe Gen5 E3.S SSD workloads. The rear-mounted cooling architecture also allows multiple CP166 modules to be deployed within a single chassis while maintaining efficient thermal performance.
